Today I'm going to share a Christmas tag that I made With some distress inks an Tim Holtz stamps.
*First of all I coloured the whole tag with my blending tool and Fired Brick an Peeled Paint distress inks
*Next I stamped the Santa Claus stamp at the bottom of the tag, I then stamped the Santa onto a post it note to create a mask. I masked of the Santa and stamped a music script over the top, once I'd took the mask away I took a water brush and lifted off the colour from Santa Claus so he was a lighter colour.
*Next I stamped the clock and the numbers 25 onto cream card.I cut the clock out and glued to top left of tag, where it overlapped I trimmed the clock to make the edge flush with the tag. I cut out the 25 and used a small circle punch on the corners then distressed the edges with walnut stain.
*I stamped seasons greeting down the right hand side. Next I stamped a snowflake stamp all over the tag in Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.
*Next I took my Tim Holtz edge distreser(you could use scissors) and I went round the whole tag to make the edges all ragged, then I went round the whole tag with walnut stain distress ink and my blending tool.
*To finish off I attached Tim Holtz clock hands to the clock face. I took some stickles and went over Santa's beard, I attached the numbers 25 to the centre, Then I used my pokey tool tool to scratch some lines into the tag. I attached some ribbon and tied into a knot, and that is the tag completed.
I hope you enjoyed the tag tutorial, please leave a comment it would be nice to know people are reading and enjoying my blog.

Tag-tas-tic
Today I'd like to share a tag I made out of shades of green with a smidge of yellow and blue.
*firstly I covered a Kraft cardstock tag in mowed lawn and peeled paint distress inks and blended them together, I then took my dots mask and used mowed lawn distress ink over the top.
*Next I took a swirl stamp from my Habico swirl set and stamped all over my tag in brown archival ink, in the bottom right I stamped a bar code.
* I stamped 6 different sized flowers in brown archival, and coloured using mowed lawn and shabby shutters distress inks, I used pinflair glue gel to attach each one overlaying them to give them some dimension. I punched some leaves and used peeled paint distress ink to colour them, I glued them down tucking them behind the flowers.
*Next I stamped a bird and used my distress inks to colour him in, I cut him out and stuck him behind the flowers, I then coloured some white card candy with peeled paint distress ink and stamped over with a dots stamp and stuck in centre of flowers.
* I stamped a lace border stamp in brown archival ink and coloured in peeled paint distress ink, I then cut it out and edged the whole tag and lace border with gold paint dabber, i then attached border cut out to the bottom of the tag.
*Lastly I took some green ribbon and threaded it through holes and tied a knot in each end to make a loop for hanging.
Thanks for visiting, I hope you enjoyed the tutorial, come back soon bye for now x x

Hearts & Flowers
Hi I thought it was about time I pulled my finger out and posted on my blog lol, so you'll have to bear with me as I'm not very computer literate lol. My first card id like to share is one I did for a demonstration at a card class which is run by Susan at Crafty Nook which is in the Marketplace in Durham, right lets get on with the card.
*First of all I took a base card and using a blending tool I blended broken china all around the edges.
*Then I die cut a shape out of blue card, and with the next die shape down I cut a shape in white card.
*Now this technique is called the "Faux Leather Technique" you need a roll of masking tape ( the cheap stuff is the best) then all you do is tear the tape into bits and stick it to your card, now you can tear large or small bits its entirely up to you, I've done one in small sections which is the blue card and the brown one is in large sections.
*Then take your distress ink and blend over the masking tape and you'll notice the ink takes to the tape but even more so on the edges making it really stand out
*Next take your versamark or perfect medium and cover the whole of the masking tape, then pour over your clear embossing powder and heat with a heat tool.
* Then all I have done is die cut a heart coloured it with broken china distress ink and stamped a script stamp in the same colour ink over the top then I have gone around the edges of the heart to darken , I used 3D foam pads to give the heart some dimension. Next I die cut some leaves and coloured them with peeled paint distress ink, used flower punch coloured them with broken china then layered them up and used a white card candy and coloured that in broken china too, then used cosmic shimmer dries clear glue to stick the leaves and flowers to heart.
*Finally i die cut a label coloured that with broken china and over stamped with script stamp and then stamped happy birthday in jet black archival added card candy to each side used 3D foam pads to stick it down, and the card is finished.
Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day x x Same card but the masking tape has larger pieces

Hi this is my 2nd post today, for a while now I have been visiting Julias blog stamping ground and having a nosey round all the other crafters desks, so I thought its about time i joined in. So here is my desk this week
As you can see its very very untidy today lol. Right so what can we see, a nice topper I've made with indigo blu's poppy stamp set. I stamped in black soot distress ink and pulled the ink out with a waterbrush then when dry I have used the flitter glue and Lancashire rose guilding flakes all by indigo blu. Also a new tree stamp by indigo blu and the new xmas scene stamps by just inklined (beautiful). Well I'm off to tidy my desk up now, yeah right, all good intentions till i get there and as usual all tidying up goes out the window and I start to craft again ha ha ha. So if you would like to have a nosey around other crafters desks, then head on over to Stamping Ground and visit Julia and many others bye for now x x
